Bring Your Own Device 2019

Our school is committed to moving students and staff forward in a contemporary learning environment. BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device. This program allows students to bring an iPad to  school to support their learning.

In 2020 we will be asking all students from year 4 upwards to provide an iPad for daily use in classrooms.  Students in lower year levels will also be able to bring an iPad if parents choose. These devices can significantly improve student learning and also provide  more opportunities for students to develop their skills in information and communication technology.

IPads are a powerful means of differentiation and personalising a student's education. Student-owned devices facilitate student choice over which tool best suits their learning and communication style.

The BYOD program will strive to ensure students at Elanora State School are provided the very best educational opportunities to match their counterparts in other states and countries and prepare our senior students for high school.  By supporting students to become responsible digital citizens, we enhance classroom learning and skills that will prepare them for their future studies and careers.

STEP 1: Purchase your device. Elanora State School offers a customised BYOD portal that provides a simple system that allows you to purchase your device.
