Elanora state school offers its students a range of programs after school on our grounds. Families who are interested in enrolling their child in one of these programs are asked to contact the program provider directly.

Chess

Elanora State School's Chess Club Learners and Advanced

Chess involves a beginners group and an advanced group.

The beginners group involves students learning the basic moves and strategies of chess. The advanced group is tutored by an experienced Chess Coach from Chess Mates and a fee is payable for the service. The coaching is of a high quality and all coaches hold a current blue card and they are supervised by a teacher.

Both groups meet on Tuesday afternoons from 3pm – 4pm in the 2C Classroom.
