P&C Meeting details
The Elanora State School P&C meet a number of times per year to discuss events, fund-raising plans and goals, education and the upgrade and maintenance of facilities at our school.
The P&C Association is a group of volunteers working together to improve a school. By participating in the P&C, you are supporting the school community. Participating in the P&C gives parents and careers an opportunity to share in the school's decision-making processes, and shape the school's future. Your contribution to the P&C can be as large or small as you can manage.
Joining the P&C is a great way to get involved in the Elanora State School community, keep up-to-date with what's happening at the school, contribute to your child's education and make new friends.
Meetings are held at 3.00 pm in the Staff Room, and via Microsoft Teams when required.

Elanora Favours
Many of you have reached out over the past year to let us know that you would love to help in creating a better sense of community within our school. We recognise that the pandemic has been a challenging time for many and has limited the opportunity to connect with other school families.
In order to bring our beautiful school community together and to welcome new families to the area, a few volunteers have created a catchy new group called Elanora FAVOURS.
This stands for Fundraising And Volunteering for OUR School.
The group aims to help parents and carers connect by doing little FAVOURS for Elanora State School, whilst teaching our students the value of volunteering.
The group encourages families to have a think about what FAVOUR they could do for the school. It may simply be baking a cake for the annual bake sale, crafting for house colours, volunteering on Sports Day, or providing donations for raffles etc. All ideas and suggestions are welcome and all money raised will go towards the P&C association for improvements and equipment around the school.
So next time you see a volunteer around the school wearing the bright orange FAVOURS cap or apron, please take a minute to thank them for their time and perhaps even ask them how you can get involved.
