All students from Prep to Year 6 participate in Spanish lessons for 30-minutes per week. The Spanish program focuses on learning cultures and languages which enables students to communicate effectively in our increasingly interconnected world by engaging with the linguistic and cultural diversity of the world and its peoples.
Elanora State School participates in the annual Gold Coast Languages Speech Contest at Griffith University, where language learning is celebrated and school representatives from private and state schools across the Gold Coast and Brisbane compete in categories for languages which they are studying.
